These guys organically grow their almonds. I’ve tested them and must say they are the best almonds I’ve ever eaten!!!

Though not certified, they are grown following the organic set of standards!

These guys are for real! They hand sort the almonds and you get the best of the best.

So here’s one key thing to note here: these almonds are not pasteurized!

Almond Pasteurization

Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) is what they practice and they do all they can to keep high standards. Did you know that in California you can only buy pasteurized raw almonds the store?! That’s right. That means the raw almonds you are buying at Whole Foods and Trader Joes (and don’t get me wrong these are my favorite stores) are pasteurized. Since Home Grown Almonds sell them directly to you, you’re getting them completely raw and unpasteurized. When buying from your natural grocers, your raw almonds have been pasteurized using one the steam method, guaranteed. This law came into effect in 2007.

Their Almond Farm

You should take a look at their farm pictures! It’s located in Central California where the weather is ideal to grow pretty much anything.

You buy their almonds in bulk quantities. And be ready to put about $120 on that purchase. But it’s totally worth it. I’ve calculated though that it’s not that much more expensive then when you buy them at the store. Also, what are you going to do with 10 pounds of almonds? Well, you get together with a buddy and you split the cost. Also, when you shop on their site, you can get almond butter and samplers.
